RAPCO Electric Deice Boots/De-icers
Electrothermal propeller de-icers by RAPCO are FAA PMA approved as a direct replacement part and can be replaced in sets or interchanged with existing boots or brands if necessary. Made from a special compound, they are designed and tested to have superior abrasion resistance. The bonding surface is textured for optimum adhesion and low maintenance. Alignment marks help simplify installation. In addition, the edges of the boot are tapered for improved air flow over the transition area. Rapco de-icers offer long service life and great value in a replacement boot.
Alcohol feed shoes for propellers equipped with alcohol anti-ice systems are also available.
